Out and about on yesteryear’s streets

OUR nostalgia column brings you fascinating pictures taken in Macclesfield in days gone by. WE have teamed up with Macclesfield Library and Cheshire Archives and Local Studies to share old photographs from the archives and will be featuring several images each week.

This week we have some vintage street scenes featuring old vehicles from the 1920s and 40s well as a horse and cart in a picture of Mill Street.

There is also a picture postcard view of Victoria Park.
