Teacher accused of sex with student
ATEACHER accused of having sex with a student sent him a card asking ‘who else can I be a sl*t with?’ after he blocked her on social media, a court heard.
Deborah Lowe, 53, of Poynton, sent the card to the 15-year-old when he shunned her after she had sex with him at her home, Minshull Street Crown Court was told.
It was found by the boy’s mother and police were called, the jury heard at the start of Ms Lowe’s trial over alleged sexual offences.
The card depicted a woman face down in grass with a short skirt on, the court was told.
Ms Lowe was said to have written: “This is me after I found out you blocked me!”
Ms Lowe, of Elmsbed Caravan Park in Poynton, sent the card to the boy on her own birthday, the court heard.
Jurors heard she wrote: “I’m a mess. You blocked me and I don’t know what I have done. Who else can I be a sl*t with?
The teenager told police it was “every lad’s fantasy” as he described the secret affair with a teacher, the court heard.
But the youngster, then aged 15, said he was later “creeped out” after having sex with Ms Lowe, 35 years his senior, the jury heard.
The complainant said he and Ms Lowe began a sexual relationship after swapping phone numbers and engaging in phone sex.
He claimed they had rough sex at her flat and liaisons in her car and Elmsbed caravan park in Poynton, when Ms Lowe liked to be called a “sl*t” in the bedroom.
The youngster told officers: “She likes to think of herself as a sl*t.
“She likes me calling her that. Especially in the bedroom with her.”
Ms Lowe told police sex did take place between them - but the boy was then aged 17. She denies six sex offences.
On Tuesday the jury were played the youngster’s police video interview where he detailed their relationship.
He said he suggested swapping numbers and later that night she rang him.
The witness said: “She’s like, ‘ You make me so horny’ and all of that stuff.
“I was, ‘Oh right, I will roll with that.’ It was my first time having phone sex. I didn’t know what to say.
“She was going with it.
“Telling me what she was doing, telling me what she wanted me to do, imagining me being there and what I would be doing with her.”
Around a month later she picked him up and took him to her flat in Bramhall, Stockport, the court heard.
Ms Lowe showed him around the place and then invited the 15-yearold into her bedroom, saying: “Come in here.”
The boy told the officer: “I couldn’t really say no, could I? I’m already in her home.”
He said Ms Lowe told him to undress and then they lay on the bed.
He told the officer: “She just started kissing me and that, she bit me a little bit.
“She wanted me to pull her hair and bite her, she liked that.”
He said: “She said don’t properly tell anyone. Keep between me and you.”
Further sexual touching happened after Lowe picked him up in her car, the jury was told.
He added: “She purposely unbuttoned the top of her blouse and she was not wearing a bra.”
Sex carried on when he turned 17, at her caravan, up until the summer of last year, he said.
And Ms Lowe later paid for him to have a tattoo and insisted it contain a it romantic claimed.
Ms Lowe denies one count of sexual activity with a child and five counts of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust between April 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.
The jury heard Ms Lowe accepted she had sex with the boy.
The exact time the relationship began is the central issue in the trial that the jury must decide, the court heard.
