New office for reward company following merger
A 28-YEAR-OLD reward and recognition company has opened a new office after an international merger.
CotterillsReward, which employs 36 people, was re-branded as TerryberryReward following its merger with Michigan-based firm Terryberry, and has moved to a larger, more modern office on Beech Lane in Macclesfield.
The firm, which provides employee reward and recognition programmes to encourage and motivate staff to help achieve business objectives, serves a wide range of more than 500 clients in the UK, including Tesco PLC, AstraZeneca, Ford, Network Rail, and Marks &Spencer.
Managing director Paul Calnan said: “Joining with US-based Terryberry allows us to offer clients an expanded selection of reward and recognition offerings, including more fantastic online tools and administration features than ever before.
“We now offer a global support network with multi-lingual functionality and additional capabilities to equip us with more resources to assist our clients with bespoke projects.
“This is an exciting new era for our customers and we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring even greater value and impact to our clients.”
Mike Byam, CEO of Terryberry, added: “We are delighted with the merger of these great businesses.
“Our combined strengths mean we can provide clients in the UK and worldwide with new and innovative reward products to support their business ambitions and engage all employees.”
Karl Massey, who set up the company and will take a step back from the rewards and recognition business to hand over the reins to Paul Calnan, said: “I am pleased that the tradition I began 25 years ago will be carried proudly forward through this development for our clients, employees and our local community.”
A celebration to open the new offices included a visit from Macclesfield MP David Rutley.
Speaking after his visit, he said: “It was great to meet with Paul and to learn more about this dynamic and expanding local company.
“TerryberryReward is a real Macclesfield success story and the recent merger is a testament to the energy and dedication of all its employees to build a strong and sustainable business. I wish all at the company continued success for the future.”
