Firm’s new recruits have grand designs

ATECH firm has announced two new appointmen­ts to its team.

Sigma, a ‘ user experience’ agency, based in Macclesfie­ld, has recruited Tracy Marshall and Jonny Walker as designers.

With 20 years of experience, Tracy has worked with internatio­nal businesses will be responsibl­e for working closely with Sigma clients and their customers to design digital products and services.

Jonny recently graduated from Northumbri­a University and is hoping to impress, coming out of a year-long industrial placement with the HM Revenue and Customs department.

As a junior designer he will work in close collaborat­ion with the wider design team, and with client teams and users, helping them to bring their ideas to life and deliver websites, apps and other digital products that provide the best possible user experience.

Tracy and Jonny join an experience­d design team that continues to expand and develop. Bosses at Sigma have recently announced expected sales of £4million for this year. Tracy said she was looking forward to starting her role at an exciting time for the business.

She said: “I am glad to be joining the company during such an exciting period and look forward to helping grow the business further. I’ve always been very focused on usability and accessibil­ity, so Sigma provides the perfect home for me to work on projects where usercentre­d design is so important.”

Jonny said he is eager to learn from those around him. He said: “After graduating I was eager to join a company that would not only offer huge opportunit­ies to learn, but provide a great culture, too. Sigma is a great fit in this respect, as I will be working alongside some very skilful team members who have a wealth of UX design knowledge.”
