THE owner of a beauty salon is celebrating being in business for a quarter of a century.

Vivienne Anderson, 54, opened Seven Bridge Street Beauty Therapy, in

Macclesfield,

1995.

And to mark the milestone she and her team - which includes therapists Charlotte Harrison and Nicola Campbell - will be raising money for charity.

Efforts will have the theme of 25 - such as a 25km run, 25 mile bike ride, a raffle with 25 prizes,

back

in even a charity dog walk for 25 dogs.

The money raised will be donated to Macclesfield-based charity Dream Beams, whose work includes supporting children with mental health issues or that have suffered bereavement.

Vivienne said: “It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since we opened.

“We’ve been here so long, our clients are like family.

”I’m very proud to make 25 years, which is why we want to mark it in some way.

”In the industry we are in you have to keep retraining and learning new skills to keep yourself relevant - you can’t sit on your laurels.

”It has changed massively over the years, for example we have a lot of male customers now.”

The business is actually on Catherine Street but is named after the address it had for its first 20 years.

Its actual 25th anniversary will be at the end of the year on December 5.

The first event will be a voucher giveaway at the end of January, keep up to date with the fundraising at the salon’s website www. sevenbridgestreet. co.uk
