Enjoy some great days out with the whole family this February
FINAL preparations are underway for one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year, as the Blackpool Comes to Oldham Fun Park prepares to open its doors in the town for three weeks from Friday, February 14.
The annual event is set to be one of the most spectacular yet with over 25 thrilling rides and attractions!
As always there’s also entertainment undercover too with the mini-beach in an air-conditioned marquee so even if it is a little chilly outside, children can build the perfect sandcastle or parents can sit back and relax with a hot drink coffee and cake while the thrill seekers head outside to sample an amazing array of attractions.
And this year the rides which will dominate the skyline already are more spectacular than ever and great value too especially when you can enjoy unlimited rides for the purchase of a wristband.
Set to cause the biggest stir though will be the arrival of a full size spinning Magic Mouse Roller Coaster. Standing over 40ft high its cars take multiple twists turns and drops on its 420m track before its spinning cars take guests on a thrilling ride over the second part of the track meaning no two rides are the same!
Blackpool Comes to Oldham wouldn’t be the same without it’s iconic Vue Giant Wheel which is back once again this year standing at over 35 metres and the attraction will offer some amazing views for miles, while there will also be the return of the much-loved King Swing!
Definitely for the thrill seekers will be the Air Maxx, a monster of a ride brought in from Holland which features eight somersaulting seats spinning 48 metres high through a full 360° loop. This is one truly exhilarating experience!
Both Thursday’s (12 and 28) are sure to be popular with the families as they are ‘Family Fun Day’s - where you can get one free child wristband with every full fare paying adult with a voucher available from shops or by heading to the website below.
