- GOLF GEOFF GARNETT

CHESHIRE Union of Golf Clubs chairman Andrew Henshall has been looking to help golf clubs in Cheshire with their junior development and he is delighted with the progress made at his own club – Wilmslow Golf Club.

Andrew said: “We have a great crop of juniors coming through again at Wilmslow this season and we have the fab four of Charlie Ward, Sam Hall, Sam Johnson and Ben Currie representing Cheshire with distinction and three of them have other clubs as their home club.

“Any junior organiser or professional looking for assistance with junior development should check out the CUGC website to see how to get help or advice with the county only too keen to help in whatever way they can.”
