Don’t carry on building – sort out eyesores

-

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead are obsessed with building, building and building more and more flats and apartments.

Deal with the eyesores that are already in Maidenhead rather than constructing new ones.

Could I suggest St Mary’s Walk – that has been left for over 10 years just rotting away – either knock it down or refurbish it.

The BT block on the A4 is another blot on the landscape. Who uses it?

That’s just the beginning – there’s more. In the 62 years that I have lived in Maidenhead I have watched the dismantling of all the character of the town.

Only to be replaced by block after block after block of buildings.

Who will be housed in these buildings? What we do not need is the Nicholsons Centre to be touched by the planners who haven’t a clue. They are intent on making it into an unusable wind tunnel with no roof.
