Smuggling in lower standards for food
It seems that under the cover of the coronavirus, where the UK has seen more deaths than any other European country, the Government has removed the minimum food safety standards for UK agriculture, leaving the floodgates open for cheap food imports from around the world, including of course chlorinated chicken and hormonefilled beef.
This food will not have been produced to the same high standards as British farmers.
It seems that the Government is trying to get a trade deal with Donald Trump regardless of the cost to our local farmers.
