Business advisory firm Quantuma relocates staff
MAIDENHEAD: Business advisory firm Quantuma is moving its Thames Valley team to a new office in Maidenhead – relocating from Marlow.
Quantuma has taken an entire floor at Arcadia House, a recently refurbished Grade A building in the centre of town.
All 40 professionals from the firm’s Thames Valley team – previously based in Marlow – will relocate to Maidenhead.
The move marks a period of significant growth for the firm, having made four acquisitions since 2017 and a 10 per cent year-on-year team growth in the Thames Valley region.
The Maidenhead office will operate a complete advisory service, including restructuring advisory, insolvency and corporate finance.
Chris Newell, managing director at Quantuma, said: “Our move to Maidenhead will enable us to accommodate a busy pipeline, offering a broader range of advisory services to the region’s businesses, with the objective of driving growth back into the local and national economy.”
MAIDENEHAD: A new museum manager started at Maidenhead Heritage Centre on Monday.
Nieve Hobbs, 24, moved to the area in 2019. She lives in Windsor and has been working at the castle, exercising her passion for local history and preventative conservation.
She joined the Maidenhead Heritage Centre as a volunteer last year, tasked with running its social media account and increasing online engagement with the museum’s collection.
As manager, Nieve hopes that she can further increase the engagement for online lectures and would like to see the local history displays on the ground floor reinvigorated and reinterpreted.
Heritage Centre chairman Richard Poad said that Nieve is ‘the perfect person’ to ensure that the centre's displays, exhibitions and events are relevant to a younger and more diverse audience.
He said: “Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious.
“Our trustees are confident that she will be a great asset to the Heritage Centre as we emerge from the COVID pandemic.”
