Marlow sign Amissah to bolster attacking options

-

Marlow FC have announced the signing of Noah

Amissah from Staines Town to bolster their attacking options in the Isthmian

League South Central Division.

The 24-year-old was second in the scoring charts for the Swans this season with five goals in 11 appearances.

He will give competition to the prolific Nnamdi Nwachuku who has already struck 15 goals in 18 appearances for the Blues this campaign.

“I’m delighted to bring Noah on board to join our push this season,” said boss

Mark Bartley.

“He’s a player that Harry (Pelling) had flagged to me after watching him a couple of times earlier this term. When we travelled to Staines, I was hugely impressed with his all-round performance and knew instantly that he could improve us.

“As a player, he will add honesty, a ruthless physicality, and dynamism to our attacking options that will elevate the level that we are currently at. He can play as a genuine goal threat out wide, or through the middle and his performances had attracted interest from clubs at step 3, but thankfully the stars have aligned to bring him to Marlow.

“Registration paperwork permitting, Noah will be available for selection for Tuesday’s match against Abingdon in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup.”

Amissah spent five years in Queens Park Rangers’ academy before moving to Brentford. He completed his studies with four years in the USA at Manhattan College, making 45 first-team appearances for their team Manhattan Jaspers, scoring 9 goals.

The youngster scored twice on his Staines Town debut in the summer, a 4-1 friendly win over Wraysbury Village.
