Lovely Jub(i)lee: Come Together Norden Farm

Celebrate with arts and the community together with music, dancing, market stalls, food and drink.

Live music and dancing comes courtesy of the Dhol Collective. They are a Berkshire based drumming team of Dholplayers with a focus on rhythms of a Panjabi heritage. Twenty drummers will open the event, followed by a performance from 10 drummers and a Bhangra DJ. They’ll get everyone dancing with their fusion of traditional Panjabi folk rhythms and popular modern music.

The Ceilidh Liberation Front will lead an outdoor ceilidh. London’s most radical and vivacious ceilidh band bring dance for all the family – no experience necessary! With their energetic regime of folk dance, they breathe vigour and vitality into the traditional ceilidh, whilst honouring its roots and traditions. The ceilidh will move into the barn if it’s raining.

There’s also free kite making workshops from Community Kite Project where children and families can create Patang kites – the Indian fighter kite.

Plus there will be stalls filled with beautiful artisanal producers and the Café Bar will be serving food, drink and cream teas.

Festival flags created at community workshops will decorate the arts centre and don’t miss a collaborative portrait of

Her Majesty The Queen, created by The Whitecroft Studio (pictured above).

It is a combination of forty nine individual canvasses to produce this unique portrait.

Lovely Jub(i)lee: Come Together is supported by Arts Council England and Berkshire Community Foundation.

Enjoy the gorgeous grounds, music, wonderful local food and craft stalls.

Creative arts activities in the Italian Garden including sculpture willow weaving, canvas painting plus much more.

Live music will mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with sounds from every decade of her reign, from the 1940s to the present day including plenty of new original songs .

South Hill Park Arts Centre and explore behind the scenes of the mansion and theatre. Each tour lasts around 60 to 80 mins.

Please note that stallholders will charge for food, drinks or activities.
