Borough: Awards committee seeks your nominations

Organisers of the Maidenhead & Windsor Business & Community Awards are looking for nominations to recognise community members who have gone the extra mile.

Businesses and outstanding members of the community will be celebrated through 16 categories at the awards, which take place on Friday, September 22 at the Castle Hotel in Windsor.

The event is organised by Baylis Community Media CIC, the Maidenhead and District Chamber of Commerce and event management company Lime Blue Solutions.

Organisers are preparing to reunite companies in the

borough after the coronavirus pandemic prevented the awards ceremony taking place over the past three years.

Jeremy Spooner, CEO of Baylis Community Media CIC said: “This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate some of the wonderful things that are taking place in the business and wider community. Everyone knows how challenging the past few years have been, but now is the time to come together and celebrate.”

Entry for award categories is free and open to any business or individual based in Maidenhead, Windsor and surrounding villages.

The event is also open for members of the Maidenhead & District Chamber of Commerce outside of the surrounding areas.

The closing deadline for entries is Friday, June 30.
