Saturday March 18 Michelle de Swarte: Moved Norden Farm

Michelle de Swarte has been on the move since birth; she’s moved country four times, been homeless three times, been a fashion model, a cleaner, a reporter, presenter, writer, cat sitter and actor. Married, divorced, on drugs, off drugs.

On her debut, stand-up tour Moved, Michelle breaks down the highs and lows of burning your life to the ground and starting again when forty is around the corner.

Star of the highly acclaimed Sky/HBO’s The Baby, Michelle is an actress, comedian and writer. She recently appeared on: Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Prime Video’s Backstage With Katherine Ryan. Her appearance on BBC’s Live At The Apollo has just aired and is now available on iPlayer; she also starred as a series regular in Netflix series The Duchess.

Born in South London, Michelle was spotted by a model scout at the age of 19 and moved to New York, where she became heavily involved in the comedy scene. Since moving back to London, she has been busy filming and writing her own semi-autobiographical comedy series with Various Artists Limited and has recently been the tour support on Katherine Ryan’s tour.

Ray Bradshaw: Deaf Com 1 Norden Farm

Following a groundbreaking 2018 debut, Ray Bradshaw has written a new show, Deaf Com 1.

International award-winning comic Ray covers his recent fatherhood, teaching his young son sign-language and a disastrous trip to Bahrain!

Ray is a CODA (like in the Oscar winning film) and grew up with deaf parents.

All his shows are performed in both British Sign Language and English. His debut show Deaf Comedy Fam became the first ever live comedy experience for more than 800 deaf audience members.

He spent 2021 and 2022 touring the UK as John Bishop’s handpicked support act, having previously toured with Frankie Boyle in 2019. Ray was also the first comedian to ever win a Scottish Culture Award and he is a regular host of Scotland’s most popular radio show, Off The Ball.

See Ray’s clever and charming comedy, that has received critical acclaim from critics and fans alike at Norden Farm’s intimate Studio setting.
