Comic Relief

BBC One, Friday, 7pm

Buckle in for Comic Relief live from Salford, David Tennant, Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuinness, Joel Dommett and AJ Odudu host a night jam-packed full with celebrity guests, hilarious sketches and live musical performanc­es. There’s a special edition of The Traitors, with Claudia Winkleman, while Kylie Minogue joins forces with the cast of hit BBC sitcom Ghosts in a spook-tacular one-off sketch. Beloved comedy character Baldrick (Tony Robinson) reads his very own Blackadder bedtime story, while the cast of Mrs Doubtfire take to the stage to perform one of the songs from the show.

Highclere: Behind the Scenes

Documentar­y following life at Highclere Castle, best known to Downton Abbey fans as the setting for the popular period drama, following Lord and Lady Carnarvon and their loyal staff as they strive to make this year the most profitable to date, with a busy calendar of events both home and away. Lady Carnarvon becomes an unexpected tour guide for some Americans who've turned up expecting a private tour of the famous castle. Head butler Luis mans the drinks and ice-cream kiosk on one of the hottest days of spring, while head of visitor reception Paul prepares to display a vintage 1936 Rolls-Royce.
