Step into spring at Stubbings

-

Springtime is a wonderful new season in the garden with plenty to do, from sowing seeds, planting herbaceous perennials and getting ready for the warmer weather.

Stubbings have everything you need from outdoor living and entertaining (furniture and barbecues) to mature trees and shrubs.

This year they boast the widest David Austin® English Rose selection in the local area and an unrivalled display of immaculate topiary of all shapes and sizes.

It is certainly worth a visit if you are looking for quality mature fruit trees such as plum, apple and pear varieties. Stubbings also have a free loyalty scheme for customers to enjoy exclusive offers and you can join their Garden Club online or in store.

Stubbings is a hidden gem, just outside Maidenhead, and has a host of exciting events this year.

The ever-popular Easter Market, held on Good Friday, brings local producers to the walled garden.

Entry is free of charge and you will be able to visit stalls including hand-made jewellery, local honey, gin, art, food and candles.

There is also a whole summer of outdoor theatre to enjoy including Shakespeare’s Hamlet and The Comedy of Errors, as well as Dickens’ Great Expectations and Beatrix Potter’s Jemima Puddle-Duck.

Plus, this April and May, Stubbings will be screening some new and classic movies in their beautiful walled garden.

Bring friends and a picnic chair or blanket and sit under the stars.

Films include One Life, Grease, Barbie and The Greatest Showman.
