From Hollywood to Hyde for Liv Tyler

-

FILM star Liv Tyler turned heads when she made an unexpected guest appearance in the terraces at Hyde United.

You would expect to find the glamorous actress and model rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood elite, but the Armageddon star was in Tameside to cheer on her partner in a charity football match.

Liv, whose films also include Empire Records and the Lord of the Rings franchise, was at the ground last weekend to cheer on her fella, Dave Gardner. And the star of HBO series The Leftovers stopped to pose for photos with fans.

Liv, 38, the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, cheered on Dave, who spent his teen years playing for the Manchester United youth team alongside best friend David Beckham.

The football agent was on the All Stars side against a squad of former Manchester City players, and the match finished 4-1 to the All Stars. Funds will go to the The Mercian Regimental Benevolent Fund.

The All Stars side, sponsored by Well, the new name for Cooperative pharmacies, also included Coronation Street stars Andy Whyment and former Hollyoaks and Eastenders actor Jamie Lomas.
