Is Corrie killer about to make a terrible return?

-

WHAT’S this? Surely Coronation Street killer Rob Donovan can’t be out of prison and heading back to the Weatherfield cobbles after killing Tina McIntyre? Actor Mark Baylis has been spotted at a truck stop in Cadishead and also leaving the Coronation Street studios at Trafford Wharf.

His evil character, Rob Donovan, was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2014 for murdering Tina McIntyre, played by Michelle Keegan.

Sporting a beard and baseball cap pulled over his eyes, it looked like Marc was trying to keep a low profile as he pulled a suitcase behind him.

And he was seen being whisked away in a car with a coat over his head and hidden under an umbrella.

In terrifying scenes the slippery businessman pushed barmaid and babysitter Tina from the balcony of the builder’s yard after she discovered his dodgy dealings with his partner Tracy Barlow.

When it turned out that she was still alive, there was a shocking twist when he clobbered her with an iron bar leaving her to suffer a slow demise in hospital. After Peter Barlow was wrongfully jailed for his lover’s murder, police finally caught up with Rob on his Halloween 2015 wedding day to Tracy after he confessed all to his sister Carla Connor.

On Monday it was revealed that Maria Connor is also back in Weatherfield after being let out of prison for good behaviour.

In December the mother-of-one, played by Samia Longchambon, was jailed for a year for her phony marriage to her friend Pablo.

But the character has been seen being released from prison, styling her electronic ankle tag with the fashionable choice of cropped culottes with a pretty floral blouse and towering heels.
