loosEN those waistbands: a new restaurant offering bottomless pizza and prosecco is opening in Manchester.

buca di pizza is set to take over the former baltic cellar site on lloyd street, following the success of its launch in leeds.

owned by the brothers behind Manchester’s now-closed pouryour-own-beer bar taps, on watson street, the pizzeria has made a name for itself over the pennines with its tutto deal, offering all-you-can-eat pizza and unlimited refills of prosecco or house beer.

diners have 90 minutes to make the most of the £22 offer in leeds, where it’s available from noon to 8.30pm daily.

the menu features a range of classic italian toppings including margherita (£8), pepperoni (£9) and quattro stagioni (£12), along with buca’s own creations such as hickory pig (hickory-smoked pulled pork, pancetta, barbecue sauce, mozzarella, and chanticosp­iced cheddar, £13) and My cousin vinay (goan coconut curry sauce, paneer, spinach, onion bhajis and mint yoghurt, £11.50).

pasta dishes including puttanesca (£10), lasagne (£10.50) and bolognese (£9.50) are also available along with cicchetti (italian small plates) such as octopus and potato salad (£4.50), arancini (£4) and red wine-braised Neapolitan sausage (£5.50). an italian-influenced cocktail list leads the drinks offering, featuring classic aperitivi such as the negroni (£7) and bellini (£5), along with a selection of italian wine and beer.
