Katie puts on the style for Christie ball
CORONATION Street favourite Katie McGlynn looked worlds apart from her on-screen character when she stepped out in dazzling style for the annual Christie Charity Ball.
Katie, who plays cardigan-wearing seamstress Sinead Tinker, looked sensational and sophisticated as she arrived at the Principal Hotel in Manchester.
The Rochdale actress showed off her gym-honed figure in a glam blush pink and silver sequinned gown, cutaway across the middle to showed off her toned abs, as she posed on the red carpet.
And she was flooded with compliments on her shimmering embellished dress, which complemented her petite frame with a full-length skirt and saucy crop top.
Katie accessorised the gown with a champagne-coloured clutch.
Sharing a photo of herself arriving at the bash on her Instagram, she messaged: “Love supporting Christie Charity Ball #windswept #christieball.”
Katie, whose character recently found out that she was expecting new boyfriend Daniel Osbourne’s baby, arrived at the star-studded bash, hosted by Match Of The Day 2’s Mark Chapman and featuring a performance from Pop Idol Will Young, with her former co-star Tisha Merry who recently left the Weatherfield cobbles.
Tisha, who played waitress Steph Britton for four years, looked gorgeous in a floor-length black and white gown teamed with red lips and matching glossy nail colour.
Katie recently spoke out after reports that she and Strictly Come Dancing hunk Giovanni Pernice had been spotted spending time together in London. Sharing a photo of herself and a pal on her Instagram at the Mirror Ball held at the Lowry Hotel, she said: “The only guy I’m dating atm.”
