EMERGENCY CREWS TACKLE FIRE

Firefighters tackled a fierce blaze at a flat in Bury. Crews were called to the fire inside a flat above a shop, on Market Street, in Tottington. Four fire engines from Bolton, Whitefield, Ramsbottom and Bolton North attended. Nobody was inside the building at the time. The fire was on the first floor of the building, with images showing smoke and flames coming from the roof.
