Zlatan’s expecting sweet smell of success
IF anyone knows about the sweet smell of success, it’s footballing icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And the United striker reckons he’s got the perfect formula for just that - with his own brand of fragrances for both men and women.
The Swedish forward has teamed up with the Cheshirebased Mankind group with his fragrance line which he was proudly showcasing at their Hale HQ this week.
There’s his original, self-named parfum Zlatan for men, with his most recent fragrance Supreme available for both men and women created with top perfumer Olivier Pescheux.
And, in true confident Zlatan style, he believes he has a worldbeating team to help him create the very finest in fragrance.
He says: “I want to do something and conquer, just like I do with football. I have been very involved from the start, I’m learning every day. A couple of years ago, this was a whole new world for me, but I met two lovely persons who were very confident, just like me when I’m playing.
“It felt like some kind of perfect match. I only go in to this to make a difference and we were confident we could make our own story.
“I would never do something that I don’t stand behind, it’s not to make money, I will still eat, I will still survive. It’s for a real challenge for me. My personality is in every drop.”
And while the Zlatan name will undoubtedly resonate with United fans, the superstar insists his fragrances are NOT just for football fans.
He says: “It’s not about football fans, this is a different world, it’s nothing to do with football. It’s the fragrance world. It’s for everyone, I make it for everyone.”
