THESE are the latest pictures of a mum suspected of abducting her two young sons.

Police have warned that Samantha Baldwin, 40, could pose “a risk” to the boys.

A court ordered that six-year-old Dylan Madge and his brother Louis, nine, should be removed from Samantha’s care last Monday.

The mum – who moved to Newark in the East Midlands from Littleborough in 2015 – was last seen that day near Nottingham city centre.

A missing persons appeal was launched on Tuesday after she vanished with her sons. Investigating officers said the case was being treated as an abduction on Wednesday. Police have now released new images of Samantha, Dylan and Louis as 100 officers continue the search.

Detectives have called on staff at guest houses, bed and breakfasts, hotels and caravan parks to check their registers and be aware that Samantha may be using a different name.

It is believed she may have also changed her appearance and that of the boys.

Louis and Dylan were declared wards of court during the hearing at Nottingham Family Court on Monday. The ruling means that Samantha does not have legal custody of the boys at this time.

She disappeared after leaving court just after 11am that day and was seen in Cheapside, in Nottingham, between 11.30am and 12.45pm.

Samantha grew up in Littleborough and attended Hollingworth High School in Milnrow. It’s understood she used to work at Hollingworth Lake and also lived in Chorlton for a time.

Supt Richard Fretwell said: “We are concerned that Samantha poses a risk to the boys and we have a 100-strong team of officers working around the clock to trace her and return the children safely.”

Police previously released images of Samantha wearing a distinctive red coat, black tights and black shoes and holding a black handbag.

Samantha is 5ft 7, slim, with shoulderlength highlighted blonde hair and green/ blue eyes. Louis is fair with blue eyes and collar-length straight fair hair.

Dylan is tanned with brown eyes and has collar-length straight dark brown hair.

Two women aged 62 and 36 who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on police bail.

Anyone with information of their whereabouts to call Nottinghamshire police on 101 urgently.
