Bravo may have played his last game for City

...while Jose gets ready to play his first for United!

CLAUDIO Bravo could have played his last game for City after his derby injury woe.

The Blues keeper looks set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a calf injury against Manchester United.

And after a mixed first season at the Etihad Stadium, his future beyond this summer’s transfer JOSE Mourinho says he is training to line up in United’s defence against Swansea after the Reds’ injury nightmare.

United will be without EIGHT senior players for tomorrow’s clash at Old Trafford after Marouane Fellaini’s window is far from secure, with Pep Guardiola in the market for a new keeper.

Bravo was a virtual spectator in the second half of the goalless draw at the Etihad. But he went down in pain after collecting a cross late on.

The 34-year-old left the pitch on a stretcher, with Guardiola admitting he fears the worst. suspension for his sending off against City.

And so severe is the problem, the Reds boss has joked he may have to lace his boots on ... just in case.

“In this moment Eric Bailly is the only option we have,” Mourinho said.

“Of course he has an injury, probably for some weeks,” said the City boss. “I don’t know if he will be available again this season.”

It’s the latest blow in what has been a miserable campaign for Bravo following his £15.4m move from Barcelona last summer. “It’s Axel Tuanzebe, Eric and Daley.

“I think (it will be) Eric and Daley, they played again absolutely amazingly against City. I will see how they feel.

“I’m also training hard in the gym so I can also be an option. Mourinho and Tuanzebe against Swansea.”

The keeper was dropped for understudy Willy Caballero in February after a series of unconvincing performances.

Guardiola has reinstated him as his number one in recent weeks but there remain doubts about his long-term future.

Guardiola is monitoring Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford and Ederson from Benfica.

Meanwhile, David Silva is in line to return against Middlesbrough tomorrow after recovering from the knee injury that ruled him out of the derby.

The Spanish international didn’t even make the bench against United but was moving freely in training yesterday.
