DIARYDIANNE Pain of Bethany in Corrie shocker

-

GROOMED teenager Bethany Platt cries out in agonising pain as sadistic pervert Nathan Curtis burns her with a cigarette on Coronation Street. Viewers were sickened to see poor Bethany raped by Nathan’s friend Neil as part of this harrowing sex ring storyline.

And now things look set to get even worse for the terrified teenager as Nathan appears to burn her arm with a cigarette in upcoming Corrie scenes.

Spoiler photos show blonde Bethany, played by Lucy Fallon, clasping her arm in pain after nasty Nathan harms her.

This week, 16-year-old Bethany is set to be introduced to another man after she was forced to sleep with Neil as Nathan turned a blind eye. Nathan has been grooming Bethany and planning to pass her to his friends. And he keeps her trust in their relationship by popping the question and asking her to be his wife.

Bethany is told that newcomer Ian is “angling for an invite” to another one of Nathan’s parties as Nathan ramps up his evil plan.

She’s asked if Ian is “good looking enough” to join the group - and Bethany replies, “I don’t see why not”, much to Nathan’s delight. And he tells Ian, “sounds like you’re in luck”. Bethany is left confused and upset after sleeping with Neil - a situation she was forced into by Nathan - and she’s stunned when another man turns up at Nathan’s tanning shop.

Actress Lucy, 21, said about the storyline: “There’s been a few people that have said it shouldn’t be on at this time, it’s a family show and things like that.

“But most people have been saying how it’s really amazing that Corrie are tackling such an important issue and that these things don’t get spoken about and if they don’t get spoken about then there’s no awareness about it - so it’s been pretty much all positive apart from a few people.”
