‘BABE POWER’

Sweet smell of success for TV stars

-

THE launch of new perfume Babe Power had plenty of that - as a bevy of glamorous soap stars and fashionistas headed along to the glitzy bash in Manchester.

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon enjoyed a break from her dark storylines on the soap as she joined the revels alongside Katie McGlynn, Catherine Tyldesley, Sair Khan, Bhavna Limbachia and their former co-star Tisha Merry all in matching monochrome hues for their girlie night out.

Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson went for girly glam in a pretty pastel lilac lace dress, while Hollyoaks favourite Nikki Sanderson was also in lace - a striking white minidress with red floral details.

Corrie star Cath was the picture of sophistication in a black bardotstyle dress alongside co-star Katie in a chic white skirt and peek-aboo black top showing off her shoulders.

And Cath teased us that there are some rather exciting storylines ahead for her Corrie character Eva in the months to come.

She said: “It’s so amazing, I’ve got the best storylines I’ve ever had.”

And when it comes to who Cath thinks has Babe Power, it would have to be her boss at Corrie - new producer Kate Oates. She said: “Kate has come in she’s been a whirlwind.

“Everyone loves her, she’s an absolute powerhouse.

“She’s totally inspirational. What she’s doing for Corrie at the moment is absolutely fantastic.”

The party, organised by Vital Publicity, was all pink themed to match the packaging of the new Babe Power perfume, which is billed as being “for the girl who wants her scent to match her unapologetic attitude,” and included a sassy DJ set from super-cool model Helen Holt.

The event was held at trendy Menagerie bar at New Bailey, and co-owners, Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Seema Malhotra and Stacey Forsey, were also in glamorous form as they headed along to support the bash on Thursday night.

The perfume, described as “designed to evoke a feeling of strength, confidence and femininity” is the first from Manchester fashion brand Missguided, in partnership with parfumier PerScent.

Nittin Passi, founder and CEO of Missguided, says: “We are very excited to be launching our first fragrance, Babe Power.

“It has been a pleasure working with an experienced company like Per-Scent who have an in-depth knowledge of the fragrance market and have proven to be an invaluable partner.”

Babe Power, priced £28, is on sale now at Missguided and The Fragrance Shop.
