Comedian’s Q&A in aid of fund for mum

-

FOLLOWING two sold-out shows last December, Bolton comedian Peter Kay has announced another live Q&A at Blackpool Opera House next month in aid of the Polly Haydock Appeal and her continuing Cancer Treatment Fund.

Mum of three Polly Haydock, from Westhoughton in Bolton, was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2015 and, after receiving heartbreaking news that her cancer had reached stage four last July, Polly set about the task of raising over £400,000 so she could get expert treatment in Germany.

The treatment, which is unavailable in the UK, could not only prolong her life but may also help cure the disease. Polly and her family, including her three children, have been raising money for the specialist treatment via Go Fund Me.

At this brand new Q&A in aid of Polly’s Fund, which takes place on June 4, Peter will discuss his career in comedy and will be showing some exclusive clips and out-takes from his acclaimed shows.

The audience will get insights into his shows Car Share, Phoenix Nights, Max And Paddy’s Road To Nowhere, That Peter Kay Thing and Britain’s Got The Pop Factor, as well as his latest stand-up tours, the latter of which holds the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful stand-up comedy tour in the world.

He will also be chatting about his career in the music world and success as an author.

All profits from Peter Kay – A Very Special Live Q&A will go towards the Polly Haydock Appeal, Polly Haydock’s My Children Need Their Mummy Cancer Treatment Fund.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 9am via www.ticketmaster.co.uk and www.seetickets.com, and cost £35. A maximum of six tickets are allowed per order.
