GALLAGHER’S 50TH FEUD RUMBLES ON
LIAM Gallagher has reignited his war of words with brother Noel Gallagher – claiming Noel hasn’t invited ‘none of his family’ to his upcoming 50th birthday bash. LIAM Gallagher has reignited his war of words with brother Noel Gallagher – claiming Noel hasn’t invited ‘none of his family’ to his upcoming 50th birthday bash.
Noel is planning what looks like an extravagant party to celebrating hitting his half century – after an image of his party invite was displayed on social media.
But according to the latest tweet from Burnage boy Liam, Noel hasn’t invited ANY of his family, including his own mum Peggy, to the celebration.
Liam, referring to his brother as “potato”, tweeted: “Re potatoes 50th he’s not invited none of his family not even his own mother says a lot about the man and his party planner pair of w ***** s.”
Perhaps the theme of the party might suggest why Noel is reluctant to invite his mum - if that is indeed the case.
For the invite, first revealed on Noel’s wife Sara’s Instagram story to her followers, is themed around hit Netflix show Narcos about drug lords.
Showcasing the invite to her husband’s half-century celebration, the glamorous PR guru revealed that Noel’s quite the fan of the show - which in its two series has recounted the true-life tale of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and the US agents who hunted him down.
Featuring the rocker stood in a pose that mimics the show’s own promotional images, Noel is snapped in a cloud of smoke with white powder flying around him.
Titled “NG’S 50th”, the card also features the show’s tagline, “There’s no business like blow business,” at the top.
High Flying Birds star Noel turns 50 on May 29.
While it’s more than likely that the party will have a starstudded guest list, Liam’s tweet yesterday suggests it won’t include the wider Gallagher clan.
The two brothers, whose growing feud caused Oasis to split, have been at loggerheads in recent years – most recently over Noel collaborating with their one-time Brit Pop rivals, Blur. Liam said there would be ‘war’ after Noel revealed he and the Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn worked on material for the band’s latest album, Humanz.
