Restaurateur joins office of Manchester legal team
HELEN TSE HAS JOINED CLARKE WILLMOTT AS PARTNER
RESTAURATEUR and practicing lawyer Helen Tse has joined the Manchester office of law firm Clarke Willmott.
Tse will take up a dual role as a partner in the corporate team specialising in Brexit.
As a fluent Cantonese speaker, she will also be part of the firm’s China desk.
Tse, who heads Northern Quarter restaurant, Sweet Mandarin, with sister Lisa, graduated in law from Cambridge University and her professional career has included stints at Clifford Chance, London; PwC, Hong Kong; and Walkers in the Cayman Islands.
Outside of law, she is also an author and violinist.
She was presented with an honorary doctorate degree from Staffordshire University in 2008 in recognition of her contribution to literature and was awarded an MBE in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to the food and drink sector.
Helen’s clients are predominantly owner managed businesses, high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs and she advises on all aspects of acquisitions, disposals, company reorganisations and raising finance. Tse is also joined at Clarke Willmott’s Manchester office by Emma Collins, associate, and Alexis Campbell, solicitor.
