RACHEL’S A BIG FAN OF REDS
COUNTDOWN star Rachel Riley proudly showed off her team’s colours as she wore a dazzling bright red ballgown to host the Manchester United Player of the Year Awards.
TV number cruncher Rachel is a lifelong Red, and opted for a dazzling crimson gown by designer Suzanne Neville as she walked the red carpet at Old Trafford to host the end-of-season celebration at the club.
She hosted the on-stage interviews with players at the event, where Ander Herrera was crowned Player of the Year.
But while Rachel dazzled in red, the glam United WAGs chose more understated monochrome dresses as they joined their player fellas at the glitzy bash.
Goalie David De Gea was joined by wife Edurne Garcia in a striking white gown with racy see through panelling, while Phil Jones’ fiance Kaya also chose a sophisticated white dress for the event.
Man of the moment Herrera was joined by his girlfriend Isabel Collado in a glamorous Grecian-style draped black gown, completing her look with a bright red clutch bag.
Matteo Darmian’s fiancee Francesca Cormanni was in stunning form in a full-length black gown with sheer details, as was Sergio Romero’s wife Eliana in a classic little black dress. The annual event helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
