Around 11.30am, Tuesday May 23 police use explosives to blow off door of bomber Salman Abedi’s home in Elsmore Road, Fallowfiel­d, and search it.

AM, Tuesday May 23 - armed officers also search a flat, believed to be linked to Abedi, at Carlton Road, Whalley Range.

AM, Tuesday May 23 - Ismail Abedi, 23, IT worker and older brother of Salman, is arrested near Morrisons store, in Wilbraham Road, Chorlton.

AM, Wednesday May 24 - armed police, backed up by bomb disposal experts, raid a flat in Granby Row, off Sackville Street, in Manchester city centre. It is believed to be a rendezvous for bomber and others but a not bomb factory.

6.30pm, Wednesday May 24 - woman arrested at a block of flats in Broadmoss Drive. She is later released without charge.

AM, Thursday May 25 - man arrested in Egerton Crescent, Withington.

AM, Thursday May 25 - police carry out controlled explosion to search of house in Lindun Street, Moss Side. They also arrest a man but do not confirm the exact location.

AM, Thursday May 25 - police raid home in Wigan after arresting man in the town on Wednesday. The location of the property was not disclosed.

PM, Thursday - Bomb squad officers return to the address in Egerton Crescent following concerns. Police carry out detailed forensic investigat­ions at addresses in Blackley and Wigan.
