A BRAVE dad has described the moment he ran into the Manchester Arena bomb blast to help injured people using T-shirts as makeshift bandages.
Daren Buckley, from Swinton, was attending the Ariana Grande concert with his son, who has special needs, when the bomb went off behind them.
The 49-year-old said he saw a “white flash” and smoke, which made him instantly realise it was a bomb.
He shouted to nearby wheelchair users to not use the door behind them leading to the concourse where the blast went off.
Daren asked a member of staff to look after his son, Lewis, then he raced into the area of the bomb blast to offer help.
