‘Bravest girl’ Jaden gets surprise visit from Blues captain

10-YEAR-OLD INJURED IN ARENA ATTACK GIVEN BOOST BY CITY IDOL

A LITTLE girl seriously injured in the Manchester Arena attack was paid a special visit at her home by Manchester City star Vincent Kompany and his wife.

Jaden Farrell-Mann, 10, who was hurt in the bombing on May 22, was surprised by the Blues captain on Tuesday.

Delighted Jaden shared a photograph of herself with Vincent and his wife Carla on her Twitter account.

The youngster wrote: “So lucky to meet @VincentKom­pany and @Carla_ Kompany. They came to my house today with some lovely Manchester City gifts! Thank u, love Jaden.”

Carla Kompany then replied saying Jaden was the ‘bravest person [she] had ever met.’

“It gives me chills thinking of what you and your amazing friend went through. Pleasure was all ours,” she added.

Jaden stole the nation’s hearts and headlines when she was pictured with Ariana Grande earlier this month.

The schoolgirl, from Denton, Tameside, was one of the injured children to be paid a visit by the pop superstar at the Royal Manchester Childrens’ Hospital ahead concert.

She was also one of the young patients to be visited in hospital by Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.

Cheeky Jaden wrote on Twitter: “They didn’t make me be a United fan, but they were still very kind.”

Jaden was also lucky enough to meet Coronation Street stars.

The youngster was badly hurt in the attack, suffering fractures to both her legs and shrapnel wounds.

She is now recovering following surgery. of the One Love at home
