Ex-MP in Big Brother rumour
FORMER Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk could be about to enter the Big Brother house – where he may come face-to-face with his ex-wife Karen.
Channel 5 are in talks for him to star in this summer’s celebrity version of the reality show.
Mr Danczuk confirmed he has met with television bosses, but declined to comment further.
The show will see housemates come face-to-face with ex-lovers – which has led to speculation about ‘selfie queen’ Karen.
Since the couple split she has been forging her own reality TV career, with appearances on The Island with Bear Grylls and Big Brother spin-off, Bit on the Side.
Mr Danczuk, 50, was suspended from Labour in 2015 after sending explicit messages to a 17-year-old girl. He stood as an independent in Rochdale in last month’s General Election after being banned from standing for the Labour Party but lost out to Tony Lloyd.
