EMMERDALE beauty Gemma Atkinson showed off her toned muscles and tiny waist as she headed out on the town.

Fitness fanatic Gemma has been working out especially hard in the gym with UP Fitness in Manchester – and the results of her gruelling 12-week training programme were clear to see as she posed for photographers in a rose pink figure-hugging dress.

The Bury actress and radio presenter flashed a hint of her rock hard abs in her dress by Dirty Doll, which features a triangular cut-out detail at her stomach.

Gemma, who presents the Key 103 breakfast show with Matt Haslam and Mike Toolan, teamed her pretty dress with nude strappy heels and wore her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Sharing a photo of herself on Instagram ahead the girls’ night out fans commented on her body transformation.

One said: “Wow you’ve lost so much weight but you look amazing lady.”

Another said: “Right, I am off to the gym now! #bodygoals.”

Gemma, 32, is known for pushing her body to the limits in the gym and she was glowing as she stepped out with her makeup artist friend Cinta Miller at the Living Room on Deansgate.

She has been regularly updating her Instagram with photos and videos of her training and progress at UP.

And recently the soap star, whose character Carly Hope recently left the Yorkshire Dales, went on a health-conscious juice retreat to Portugal where she enjoyed activities including hiking and yoga.

Last year she stripped completely naked on a photoshoot for Women’s Health magazine.

She shared an unedited photo taken by herself at the photoshoot and shared it on Instagram along with a moving message hoping to inspire other women to love themselves and their bodies.

Gemma, who has previously spoken out against body shaming trolls, jumped at the chance to take part to highlight the importance of feeling comfortable in your own skin. BOLTON comic Paddy McGuinness joined Tanya Bardsley to run a mile to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

The popular Take Me Out host and The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya were the latest in a long line of celebs to join the Run With George challenge.

Comedians Jason Manford and John Bishop and footballer Steven Gerrard have all run a mile with 10-year-old George Mathias from St Helens who is on a journey to complete one mile for every month he has had the gift of a younger brother James, six.

The youngster will run 75 miles and counting to raise money in thanks to the hospital after James was born premature and developed the potentially fatal condition bronchiolitis.

After his birth the youngster was rushed to Alder Hey hospital in an oxygen tank and specialists fought to save his life. Paddy and Tanya joined George and James to run their mile in The Carrs park in Wilmslow after being nominated by fellow celebs.

They had a warm up with Matthew Cresey from Neon PT in Alderley Edge before setting off.

Phoenix Nights star Paddy said: “I’m a big gym goer and doing something like this is great to support, I could do another me!”

Paddy went on to nominate his friends, Emmerdale favourite and Key 103 presenter Gemma Atkinson and Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley.

And Tanya nominated her Cheshire Housewives co-star Leanne Brown’s husband Wes Brown and her footballer husband Phil.

Tanya said: “Phil will be so shocked I ran a mile, having three young boys this cause really means a lot to me.”
