‘City will always be a special club to me’

-

JOE Hart has finally been officially unveiled as a West Ham player.

The City fans’ favourite spent last season on loan at Italian side Torino and after buying Ederson, Pep Guardiola made it clear he had no place for the England man at the Etihad next season.

After 11 years at City, Hart admitted that he will always have a soft spot for the Blues.

Speaking to West Ham’s official website he said: “I’ve obviously left Manchester City on loan this season, but the club as a whole, especially the supporters, have always been fantastic to me.

“I’d never change how I feel about that club, as it’ll always be a very special club to me.

“It’ll be fun to play against them because I’ll be banned when it comes to the actual season, while I’m sure United will welcome me with open arms if I get the nod and start the season away at Old Trafford.”

Taking to his Instagram page Hart sent another message to his former club. He wrote: “I would like to wish Manchester City good luck for the season but I would especially like to thank the Man City supporters. Your continued and loyal support means the world to me and my feelings towards you guys will never ever change.”

After a year in Torino, Hart is looking forward to returning to the Premier League.

He said: “I’m ready to come back and looking forward to being part of this fantastic league.”
