What do teachers do during the long summer holidays?
IT’S the time of year when all teachers can finally breathe a sigh of relief – the start of the summer holidays.
The six-week break is a chance for worn-out teachers to have a break from the classroom and re-charge their batteries.
Sometimes faced with envious remarks about the long summer break they enjoy, do primary and secondary teachers simply chill out or do they use the time to plan and prepare for the academic year ahead.
