UNITED SPECIAL Jose is still setting his sights on a fourth new signing

UNITED have landed three star signings this summer.

And manager Jose Mourinho hasn’t given up on adding a fourth - with a winger his priority - after bringing in Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.

But the Reds have seen far more players head out of Old Trafford, either permanently or on loan, with former club captain Wayne Rooney the most highprofile among them.

The club’s website lists 13 players who have moved on during the close season, though that figure could be reduced by one if Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to the fold once he has recovered from his knee injury.

Mourinho has indicated the Swede could be handed a new contract once he has recuperated after his huge impact on the side last season.

His contract was not renewed after he suffered a seasonending cruciate knee ligament injury in April against Anderlecht.

United have sent six of their young professionals out on loan Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Dean Henderson, Sam Johnstone, Regan Poole and Devonte Redmond.

DEPARTURES Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Leeds, loan), Kayne DeidrickRoberts (released), Tim FosuMensah (Crystal Palace, loan), Josh Harrop (Preston), Dean Henderson (Shrewsbury, loan), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (contract expired), Adnan Januzaj (Real Sociedad), Sam Johnstone (Aston Villa, loan), Faustin Makela (released), Regan Poole (Northampton, loan), Devonte Redmond (Scunthorpe, loan), Wayne Rooney (Everton), Guillermo Varela (Penarol). PAUL Pogba is not interested in personal glory with United - only team silverware.

Last summer’s world-record £89m buy from Juventus ended the season with nine goals, scoring his last one in the Europa League final against Ajax in United’s 2-0 win in Stockholm.

But Pogba also hit the woodwork nine times following his return to Old Trafford and opened his 201718 account with a goal in the Reds’ 4-0 win against West Ham at Old Trafford last Sunday.

While the 24-year-old Frenchman is keen to improve his output, he won’t obsess about it. He said: “I hope to get more goals. I hope this season I won’t hit the post so much like I did last season.

“I know the occasions will come and I will always create something. But it is the result for the team that matters.

“You cannot win a game by yourself.

“It is not about who scores the most goals. It is about the winning.

“You could score 50 goals this season, but you might not win anything.

“You could score 100 and not win anything. What matters is winning the Premier League.

“You could make so many assists, so many goals, but if at the end of the season you lose the league it doesn’t matter. What you may have done individually is good but what matters is winning trophies.”

The addition of £35m Nemanja Matic from Chelsea as a holding midfielder can free Pogba up to concentrate on getting forward.

“Against West Ham, Nemanja was starting behind and I could worry more about attacking,” he added. “I feel good playing that way.

“But it depends on what the manager wants. What he wants we have to do.”

So can Pogba be a 20 goal a season midfielder? “If I take penalties!” he said. Last season wasn’t just a new venture for Pogba but also manager Jose Mourinho.

The midfielder now believes there is more to come from the Reds squad.

“With the experience of last season, new manager, new players, now it is the second season of Mourinho,” Pogab added. “We all know more about the Premier League.

“Even if Mourinho has experienced the Premier League before, it was at Chelsea. Now he is at Manchester United. It is different. “When you know the team more you know how to play alongside them. You get on better. “You just get a different feeling. “You can see against West Ham everybody was getting along well and playing for each other. “It was an excellent start to the season against West Ham, but what matters is the end. We have started well but we have to carry on like this. “But it is only one game. We have to keep calm, carry on training and keep working and concentrating on the next game.” Paul Pogba was speaking at the unveiling of a mural created by world renowned graffiti artist, Alec Monopoly at Old Trafford.
