Leanne’s not set for India transfer with hubby Wes
REAL Housewives star Leanne Brown has confirmed that she’s staying in Cheshire after it was announced her hubby Wes is heading to India to play football.
Proud wife Leanne said she was “so pleased” to announce former United star Wes had signed to Indian Super League team Kerala Blasters and shared an Instagram post highlighting his footballing achievements.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire favourite announced: “So pleased to announce my hubby funkybb5 off to play in India keralablasters.”
Congratulations poured in from fans with some keen to know if Leanne would be joining her husband in India, or if she would remain in her native Cheshire.
Asked by one follower: “Are you staying here Leanne??X”, she replied: “yes.”
Leanne’s followers on social media recommended that she should holiday there with their daughters Halle, Lilia and Lola. One said: “You will have to let me know what team he is playing for and I’ll look up fixtures and venue. Anyway lovely place for u to go 4 Xmas ! Hot!”
Another said: “I recommend you visit. A stunning part of the world and a real education for the kids. You’ll fall in love with the place #adventure.”
Leanne, 40, and Wes tied the knot in an opulent ceremony at Peckforton Castle in 2009.
The glam entrepreneur has her own clothing range for girls Kiss Frogs, inspired by eldest daughter Halle, and this year she launched her own activewear brand – Lux.
On his decision to travel 5,142 miles to play football, Wes told M.E.N. Sport: “I just love being in a football environment, being with the lads, getting the buzz, playing. While I can still run, I will play,”
The 37-year-old is heading to the south west Indian coastal state of Kerala to join for the new season, which begins in November.
