Blues and Reds get seasons off to the best start

-

WHAT an incredible beginning to the Premier League season we have just witnessed and it was a great start on many levels for our Manchester clubs.

I had to trim them both up for the title after impressive wins, especially with Chelsea and Liverpool dropping points unexpectedly.

We will get more clues to both United’s and City’s title credentials this weekend, and you can watch both games live in my Betfred shops.

Jose Mourinho’s men can extend their early Premier League lead with a win at the Liberty Stadium against Swansea at lunchtime today.

Last season United put two consecutive losses in South Wales behind them by easing to a 3-1 victory with a super strike from Paul Pogba opening the scoring. Pogba is a 7/1 to score the first goal and 3/1 to score anytime in the 90 minutes.

Ten out of the last 11 games between United and Swansea have seen both teams scoring, so have a look at my Goals Galore coupons. This game is priced at 6/5 for both to hit the net again.

On Monday night Pep Guardiola’s side welcome Everton to the Etihad. This game has ended in a draw for the past two seasons and the Toffees are becoming a thorn in the side of City.

Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus both started at Brighton last weekend, but it was the Argentinian who got the opening goal. He is 4/5 to score on the night.

This game will also see Wayne Rooney return to Manchester. He is 4/1 to get on the scoresheet.

Hopefully this weekend’s games are just as entertaining as the opening matches. I am so glad the Premier League is back.
