Gary reveals 3 Take That songs and a hits tour
GARY Barlow has let slip some very exciting news to fans in a revealing question and answer session.
The Take That superstar held an Ask Gary Q&A on social media on Thursday night, inviting fans to put their probing questions to him - and he came up trumps with lots of interesting information.
The pop heartthrob told his 4.5m followers that a solo tour is on the way, following Take That’s stunning Wonderland tour this summer.
And next year Take That will be back with a new greatest hits album, which will including THREE new songs.
Then Gary, Howard and Mark will be touring again in 2019 with the greatest hits compilation.
Asked by a fan: “@GaryBarlow will you be doing a solo tour again soon?”, he confirmed he’ll be hitting the road in April for a tour “all over the UK”, although he hasn’t been back in the studio to record any new solo material.
Another follower asked him if there’s any chance of a Take That Greatest Hits tour and he said “yes 2019 xx”.
Asked by another Thatter: “So what’s up your sleeve for next year!?”, he answered: “TT greatest hits with 3 new songs xxx”
There’s sad news for fans hoping to see the return of Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, though, because the Back For Good hitmaker said “doubt it” when he was asked “when will the reunion with all 5 of you be?”
But Gary confirmed Take That will be performing in Dubai in November - and that the lads would consider headlining Glastonbury.
The father of three says he has yet to set a date to renew his vows with wife Dawn after he asked her to marry him again during An Evening With Take That screened on ITV1 in April.
As a surprise for his wife of 17 years, Gary told the audience: “I’d like to renew my wedding vows with my amazing wife.”
Asked during the Q&A: “Have you set a date yet to renew your vows to Dawn yet???” he answered: “Not yet but it’s on the list xxx”
On Monday, Take That are set to make an appearance at this year’s Manchester Pride festival.
Gary, Howard and Mark are due to appear at the annual festival celebrating the city’s LGBT culture introducing the stars of their new musical The Band on the main stage on Sackville Street.
