VICTOR Lindelof believes he is starting to get his feet under the table at United and isn’t starting to panic about how much time he is getting on the pitch at the moment.

Reds boss Jose Mourinho hasn’t played his £30m summer signing from Benfica in United’s opening three Premier League matches.

The 22-year-old hasn’t had a look in since a traumatic Super Cup outing in Skopje against Real Madrid.

Lindelof has spent two matches in the Old Trafford VIP seats and was an unused sub against Swansea City.

“It’s clear that you always want to play,” said the defender, who is on international duty with Sweden.

“It’s a tough competition with very good players, so we’ll see how it gets. But of course you always want to play.

“I have just got to the club. I have been there for around two months and I am start getting into it more and more.

“The last training week has gone very well and I feel I’m getting into it more and more.

“It has been good. It has been a very important first time for me and getting to know the club, everything around, all players, leaders and the system. A very important time for me.”

Lindelof accepts he is now in the spotlight in England as opposed to in Portugal with Benfica.

“It is clear that there is a difference. It is clear there are more eyes on Manchester United than it is at Benfica,” he says.
