£160k supercar seized after ‘anti-social’ driving
A LUXURY supercar worth around £160,000 was seized by police after it was allegedly seen speeding and driving erratically.
Police stopped the vehicle on Ellesmere Street, in Bolton, following several reports of antisocial behaviour.
Witnesses said the car had been seen speeding or driving inappropriately on 30mph roads.
The car already been subject to a section 59 warning, which meant police could take the car if it is seen driving in an anti-social manner again.
The rented Lamborghini Huracan was seized by police and has since been collected by the owner.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident on September 2 .
PC Wayne Clemens told the M.E.N.: “We had received reports it had been driving in an anti-social manner – speeding or driving inappropriately for the speed limit.
“We had a look around and stopped it. It already had a section 59 warning about the vehicle being driven like that last time.”
