£160k supercar seized after ‘anti-social’ driving

A LUXURY supercar worth around £160,000 was seized by police after it was allegedly seen speeding and driving erraticall­y.

Police stopped the vehicle on Ellesmere Street, in Bolton, following several reports of antisocial behaviour.

Witnesses said the car had been seen speeding or driving inappropri­ately on 30mph roads.

The car already been subject to a section 59 warning, which meant police could take the car if it is seen driving in an anti-social manner again.

The rented Lamborghin­i Huracan was seized by police and has since been collected by the owner.

Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident on September 2 .

PC Wayne Clemens told the M.E.N.: “We had received reports it had been driving in an anti-social manner – speeding or driving inappropri­ately for the speed limit.

“We had a look around and stopped it. It already had a section 59 warning about the vehicle being driven like that last time.”
