Sparkle with 20 wines to choose from at festival

-

FIZZ fans can try more than 20 types of sparkling wine at a prosecco festival coming to Manchester Cathedral.

The Sparkling Prosecco Event will take place inside the beautiful Grade I listed church next February.

Ticket holders can look forward to more than 20 different varieties of prosecco and champagne, as well as a dedicated gin bar serving up G&Ts and gin-based cocktails.

There will also be a craft ale bar for beer-lovers.

Guests can also look forward to live music, a DJ and food stalls.

The event is being brought to Manchester by Prosecco Events UK, which organises fizz festivals up and down the country.

There will be three sessions to choose from, with the first taking place on Friday February 23 and running from 7pm to 11pm.

The second day on Saturday February 24 will be split into two sessions, from 12 noon to 4.30pm and then 7pm to 11pm.

Tickets to each session cost £9 and the price includes your first glass of prosecco.

VIP tickets are also available for £22.

This will include seating in a dedicated area where canapes will be served.

It will also give ticket holders priority access to the main bar.
