‘I won’t be using Ryanair ever again’

-

A FAMILY stranded in Alicante after Ryanair cancelled their flight only found out after their boarding passes were rejected at security. Here’s what you’re saying on our Facebook page.

I won’t be using Ryanair again with fear of this happening. I feel for this family. It’s bad enough having your flight delayed. Yes, they get their money back but what about all the other people left stranded? Bev Dunn

We had the same issue. Two flights cancelled in one day from Manchester to Palma due to an apparent strike. Yet all other airlines flew to Palma that day with no issues. The first flight was cancelled at 9am, they then transferred us to the 5.10pm flight, then cancelled that too. They couldn’t fly us until four days

later. We had to then pay £800 to fly with Monarch on the same day with no issues or lose out on our holiday with an eight-month-old baby. Emma Taylor

It must be horrendous for the people affected but I do wonder if people ought to be going on holiday abroad if they have no savings whatsoever and are living pay day to pay day. I appreciate that not everyone affected was on a holiday but those seem to be the stories with the column inches. Paul Wheatley

Whinge, whinge and whinge. We need to get over ourselves. How many times has the number 53 not turned up? I don’t see that in the headlines ever. Daryl Bone
