TV beauties were in dazzling form at the annual Star Ball held at the Hilton Hotel. Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, former Hollyoaks favourite Jorgie Porter and The Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Leanne Brown and Tanya Bardsley turned heads at the star-studded event.

Kym, who plays Corrie’s Michelle Connor, looked elegant in a black gown as she cosied up to her boyfriend Matt Baker.

And she was thrilled to meet world heavyweight champion boxer Anthony Joshua who was also among the great and the good helping to raise funds at the charity ball, for the DM Thomas Foundation for young people and the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation.

Sharing a selfie taken with the champ, Kym tweeted: “Met this legend tonight @anthonyfjoshua what a lovely guy!!! Thanks for the photo!!!”

Fellow heavyweight fighter and Creed movie star Tony Bellew was seated next to Joshua at the event and he was accompanied by his partner Rachael Roberts, who looked super-glam in a floorlength charcoal grey dress.

Rachael wasn’t the only guest to Jorgie Porter and Kym Marsh shimmer in eye-catching metallics at the starry bash.

Salford actress Jorgie, who played bubbly Theresa McQueen in Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, turned heads in a gold plunging sparkly dress.

WAG Leanne, the wife of former Manchester United footballer Wes Brown, wowed in a black and bronze mini dress.

And her pal Tanya donned a sequin embellished minidress in gold and silver.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire girls, who are at the centre of the drama in the sixth series of the ITVBe reality show, affectionately wrapped their arms around each other as they arrived at the Hilton on Deansgate.

Following a champagne and canape reception with music from violinist Adam Kornas, guests were welcomed to a four-course dinner and auction with a performance from the Sing Out Gospel Choir.

Australian popstar Gabriella Cilmi was among the performers who provided entertainment over dinner, belting out her soulful smash hit Sweet About Me.
