THE mother of stab victim Kyron Webb has launched a fundraising appeal to help pay for his funeral.

Kyron, 15, was found with serious knife wounds on Worsley Avenue, in Moston, on Tuesday night.

He was rushed to hospital but lost his battle for life on Friday night and police launched a murder investigation.

Now his mum has published a heartbreaking tribute to her ‘beautiful’ son describing his ‘endless talents and potential’ and good grades at school.

The crowdfunding appeal aims to raise money to take the teenager’s body back to London, where his family live, for his funeral.

And it had raised nearly £1,500 of its £13,000 target yesterday afternoon.

In a message on the Go Fund Me page, his mum Rachel Webb says: “My 15-yearold son Kyron Webb was brutally murdered on Tuesday 17th October 2017 in Manchester, following a stab wound to the heart, which left him brain dead. “We are currently seeking donations to help bring Kyron’s body back home to London and to arrange the send off that he deserves.” In her emotional, poetic tribute detailing Kyron’s life, Rachel said: “You were blessed with wisdom, on the gifted and talented register you were placed. “You were artistic, a singing voice like an angel and yes you had my face. “Your talents were endless, what you touched turned to gold. Your deepest ambition to become an architect you told. Your heart was big, my protector my friend. You had a strength that prevailed to the end. You were a brother, a cousin, a nephew, a grandson, friend and so much more. “You had endless potential that everyone saw. You did give trouble but your grades were high. Your potential was great, you had the strength to fly. “During this investigation so much will be said, but I will remember 15 years you were my baby instead. “I love you sweetie, it’s time to fly. Your daddy’s love will carry you by.” Boys aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with his murder. Rachel Webb
