Quick march to Sunset Boulevard...

JORGIE ROCKS MILITARY LOOK

-

JORGIE Porter marched ahead in the style stakes as she stepped out on the red carpet at Sunset Boulevard. Former Hollyoaks actress Jorgie, who was a big hit in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity in 2015, donned a smart miliary-style jacket with skinny jeans and ankle boots as she posed for snappers at the Palace Theatre.

The Eccles star, who played bubbly Theresa McQueen in the Channel Four soap, completed her look with a pop of colour from her lipstick, her blonde hair worn down over one shoulder.

Jorgie was invited by Danny Mac, who played her on-screen love interest Dodger Savage in Hollyoaks, to watch him in the musical. And she said she had ‘dropped everything’ to cheer on her pal.

She tweeted: “When @dannymac online says he has spare tickets to #SunsetBoulevardUK you drop everything grab your girl @WhatKCDid and go!!!” Former Hollyoaks actor and last year’s Strictly Come Dancing finalist Danny performs the waltz and the tango in his role as impoverished screenwriter Joe Gillis in the story of faded silentscreen goddess Norma Desmond played by Ria Jones. Speaking with the M.E.N. about his role Danny said: “It’s potentially one of the best parts I’ve ever played and it’s a real gift. I’m loving it and the response to the show has been beautiful. It really pushes every single level of abilities.” Also walking the red carpet on launch night were Hollyoaks’ Kirsty-Leigh Porter, whose character Leela Lomax also dated Dodger on the show, former Brookside actress and musicals star Claire Sweeney and X-Factor winner Joe McElderry. Sunset Boulevard is showing at the Palace until Saturday, November 4.

I’m loving it and the response to the show has been beautiful Danny Mac
