Brooke and her pals wow at children’s festive charity bash
HOW incredible do these Incredibles look?
Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent was reunited with her former co-star Sacha Parkinson as well as her cousin Ellie Leach, who plays Corrie’s Faye Windass, as the trio dressed up as the cartoon characters The Incredibles at a festive charity weekened for poorly children and their families.
Brooke and Sacha were Corrie’s teen sweethearts as Sophie Webster and Sian Powers but, naturally for soapland, that all ended in tears and Sacha left the soap back in 2011.
But in real life they remain the best of friends and were delighted to support the annual When You Wish Upon A Star charity festive fairy tale weekend at Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest.
Brooke showed off her slimline form in her Incredibles outfit – a result of her training for the upcoming new series of Dancing on Ice in the new year. And the trio certainly went down a storm with their young fans in the red and black costumes of the characters from the hit Pixar animated film.
The fun event was organised by the charity to give a host of children from across the north west who are battling life-limiting illnesses a weekend they will never forget, surrounded by many of their favourite cartoon characters and Disney princes and princesses.
Staff from haulage firm Eddie Stobart fundraised to support the event, sending around 50 families on the special weekend away.
And a host of soap favourites were there to put smiles on the children’s faces, and help serve up a Christmas meal, including Corrie’s Sue Cleaver, Nicola Thorp and Julia Goulding.
Hollyoaks favourites Nikki Sanderson and Ellis Hollins were also getting into the festive spirit as they posed up with a snowman.
