Homeless pets are well fed

-

MORE than 9,000 meals for homeless pets have been donated by kind-hearted animal lovers in Oldham.

Customers at the Pets at Home store at Elk Mill retail park raised £1,336 for their annual ‘Santa Paws’ appeal. Throughout December people were asked to donate a small amount to help fund meals for the animals.

And a total of 9,011 meals were provided thanks to donations. Support Adoption For Pets fundraising manager Amy Wilson said: “It’s amazing to see that so many people were able to come together and make Christmas special by donating a dinner for those pets without a loving forever home.

“We would like to thank the residents of Oldham who made a donation.”
